sticky beef wet fry + fries + coleslaw πŸ₯©πŸŸπŸ₯¬πŸ”₯

All ingredients (serves 2-3)

1. For Sticky Beef Wet Fry:
– 500g πŸ₯© beef, steak or sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes – mbuzi or chicken thighs work too
– 2 tbsp 🧈 oil
– 1 πŸ§… large onion, sliced into thin strips – for topping
– 3 πŸ§„ garlic cloves, minced + 1 tbsp 🫚 ginger, minced
– For the sticky sauce:
– 3 tbsp πŸ₯« soy sauce
– 2 tbsp 🍯 honey or brown sugar
– 2 tbsp πŸ… tomato sauce/ketchup
– 1 tbsp πŸ… tomato paste
– 1 tbsp πŸ‡ dark vinegar or balsamic
– 1 tsp 🌢 chili sauce/sriracha, optional
– Β½ tsp ⚫️ black pepper + 1 tsp 🌢 paprika
– ΒΌ cup πŸ’§ water or beef stock
– 🌿 Dhania/parsley, chopped for garnish
– 1 πŸ‹ lime, sliced for serving

2. For Chips/Fries:
– 4 πŸ₯” large potatoes, peeled + cut into thick chips
– 🧈 Oil for deep frying
– πŸ§‚ Salt + 🌿 paprika, to season

3. For Creamy Coleslaw:
– 2 cups πŸ₯¬ cabbage, finely shredded
– Β½ πŸ₯• carrot, julienned – the orange strands
– 3 tbsp πŸ₯› mayonnaise
– 1 tsp πŸ‹ lime juice o
